MEPS Provides Alawneh Exchange with Secure Cashless Payment Services

Amman, February 2013 - Middle East Payment Services (MEPS) – the region’s leading payment services company licensed by MasterCard – has signed an agreement with leading Jordanian exchange house, Alawneh Exchange, enabling it to offer its customers secure, convenient and user-friendly card payment services.   Based on the agreement, MEPS will install point-of-sale (POS) devices at Alawneh’s various branches, and will provide around-the-clock technical support, card authorization and ongoing monitoring security services.   “As with several other agreements recently signed by MEPS, this newest partnership stems from our goal of facilitating our acquired merchants’ transactions by giving them an integrated, multi-card POS device that ensures unparalleled security for their customers,” said Mr. Abdallah Qtaishat, MEPS Deputy General Manager - Commercial.   Commenting on behalf of Alawneh Exchange, General Manager Ayman Alawneh added, “By signing this agreement, we aim to both ensure the delivery of cutting-edge financial exchange services to our customers, and to grow our customer-base of MasterCard holders.
